Love is beautifully diverse, and your wedding celebration should honor that authenticity.
As a member of the queer community, I understand that true inclusivity goes beyond just saying "we welcome everyone." It's about creating a space where you can wholly be yourselves - whether that means sharing your pronouns, embracing your identity beyond appearances, or celebrating with language that makes everyone feel welcomed and seen.
Every couple's journey is unique, and I'm constantly learning from the wonderful humans in my community. When we meet, I want you to feel that spark of recognition - that deep-down knowing that you've found someone who truly gets it.
Inclusivity - For me
Across my 15 years in the wedding industry, I've lived the journey from self-censoring (sometimes for safety) to embracing my authentic self. While I still read the room (old habits die hard), I'm at my best when I can be proudly me - especially at queer celebrations.
When I perform at weddings, events, clubs and parties for the community, I feel my most authentic self and therefore perform to my absolute best.
Like you, I want to feel safe and have fun doing what I love....plus, queer parties are SO MUCH FUN.

I'm Mac, your Queerly Beloved DJ, dedicated to creating an unforgettable soundtrack for my LGBTQIA+ friends. Whilst spinning tunes at 600+ weddings, I've kept dance floors packed at Naarm / Melbourne's iconic LGBTQIA+ events playing Friyay at Frannies to CLOSET to Gaytimes across the past 15 years. Whether you're dreaming of an elegant queer wedding celebration or a full-blown dance party, I've got you covered. I also run Australia's one of a kind Caravan DJ booth, Caravan Sounds.
From disco anthems to house bangers and queer pop classics, I'll keep your dance floor alive with tunes that speak to your authentic self. (And if Cold Chisel happens to be your jam, I won't judge - promise!)
